Introduction to C-TICK certification
 

A/C-Tick is a certification mark issued by the Australian Communications Authority (ACA) for communication equipment. Manufacturers and importers must follow the next steps in using A-Tick:
1.         Implement the ACAQ technical standard test
2.         Register with ACA using A/C-Tick
3.         Fill out the Declaration of Conformity Form, And keep the product in keeping with the records
4.         Affix a A/C-Tick label on a communication product or device
5.         Sales to consumers A-Tick which applies only to communications products, the electronic products mostly apply for C-Tick, but the electronic products if you apply for A-Tick, you do not need to apply for another C-Tick.
 
Since November 2001, EMI of Australia / New Zealand are applied for the merger; If the product wants to be sold in these two countries, the following documents must be prepared before into marketing, in preparation for check by ACA (Australian Communications Authority) or Ministry of Economic Development:
1. Test report - Must be certificate by NATA or NATA  certification bodies, for the Laboratory accreditation, such as NVLAP or A2LA, will be effective, Otherwise, the probability of requiring samples to be sent is very high.
2. ."Application touse the C-tickMark"Form－It must be signed by Australia / New Zealand or importer.
3."Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity"Form－It must be signed by Australia / New Zealand or importer. The vendor responsible for the signature is also responsible for ensuring that the product is still in compliance with the EMI requirements.
4. The design of the original artwork and Specification(Circuit diagram, block diagram, User’sManual and ServiceManual etc.)
5. Describe the production inspection procedure at the time of manufacture, To ensure the maintenance of EMI characteristics.
6. Any change statements that affect the EMI and the necessary test records.
