Factory review of ETL certification
 

Generally speaking, ETL certification does not require to inspection the factory before certification, however, regular follow-up inspection plan, including factory inspection, should be carried out on a regular basis without prior notice, which to compensate an annual fee for these checks.
 
If necessary, the inspector can witness the re test of the product or do the laboratory test after sampling.
 
First factory review and quarterly review of ETL certification
1.       If you are the first time to apply the ETL certification, after the test passed, our inspection staff will go to the factory for the first factory review. The factory shall make some necessary preparations; prepare the product model and relevant documents (e.g. specifications of components etc.).
2.       Factory inspection of ETL is a factory quality control system review for which apply ETL certification, and a factory review for check and approve the main structure and main components of your product in accordance with the ETL Report
The review projects can be roughly divided into: Quality control procedures for the overall manufacturing process; the method of quality control, which includes the incoming inspection and the assembly procedure; all records or reports relating to the test, test methods, equipment list and its calibration records, test reports and related corrective actions. And management of use the ETL tags.
3.       If after the first factory review, the manufacturer moves to another location, we will review the plant again.
4.       After the first factory review, we will have a quarterly review of the plant every quarter. If some of your key components in your previous ETL report are not listed in the US National Laboratory of accreditation (NRTL), we will take the components for annual review during quarterly review.
