KC certification mark

1. The information content of KC mark;

KC logo mainly includes the following information content:
Security authentication mark with KETI authentication code;
Product name;
Model name;
Rated input;
Manufacturer name;
Double insulated mark;
Rated input time (when product input time is short);
Product production date (year, month, day or batch number);
Telephone number and address of Korean service provider;
EMI or EMI/EMS sign (optional, if the product has enough time to apply for the sign, it is recommended);

2. KC mark

KC certification mark (as shown in Figure 2) should be:
Change according to the size of the product;
Easy to identify on a product or container or package, Identified by the methods of printing or engraving is not easy to fall off;
Adjacent to the KC certification cover, indicating the KC certification number;
Matters relating to safety standards shall be listed in Korean or English;
It should be black.

1. KC authentication number

KC certification number consists of the security certification institution's distinction code, product classification number, manufacturing firm and so on, Take "S (Z) W 09999 - 8001" (Figure 3) as an example:
1.       S (Z): authentication code for security certification authority (S: force; Z: self discipline, security confirmation);
2.       "W": regional codes for electrical appliance manufacturers (Korea: A ~ Q; Asia: U; Americas: V; Europe: W; Middle East: X; Africa: Y; other: Z);
3.       "09": electrical appliances classification number;
4.       "999": the number of manufacturing plants in the same area / same product category;
5.       "8": the last figure of the year (e.g. 2000 was 8 in 02008);
6.       "001": number of basic models for the same factory / same product category.
