Certification introduction of KC Mark
 
The Korean Ministry of intellectual economy (MKE) announced that
on August 25, 2008, The national standards committee will implement a new national certification mark from July 2009 to December 2010, It is called "KC Mark" sign.
The new logo is called KC Mark, which stands for Korea Certification. The current 13 mandatory signs will eventually be united under the new sign.
 
One result of this move is that, Reduce suppliers in the cost of certification fees, so that Korea KC Mark gradually become a world brand certification. But one drawback is that the KCC logo, which has just been issued, will only last a few years and will eventually be consolidated into the new KC logo.
December 2008: update of national basic regulations and current laws
July 2009: MKE begins the implementation of the national identity mark
January 2009 -- December2010: regulations relating to the improvement of certification standards
January 2011: the completion of national reunification marks all compulsory certification
