What is machinery:
 
In accordance with regulation（Article1.2），Machinery is the combination of different parts. It contains at least one function like Raw Material Processing, carrying, Packing by brake, controller or circuit. ——Construction Machinery CE Certification.
 
Machinery also include group machines for the purpose of like raw Material Processing，carrying，packing and other Comprehensive Functions. Furthermore, Under the generalized definition of machinery , security components are also included. When they are break down, people around them will be in danger.
 
Product Scope under machinery Directive
 
According to the directives，Following machines are beyond the scope of this article:
 
        ◇Lifting or shipping equipments designed and made for carrying passengers, Regardless of load or not. Except from industrial trucks equipped with lift operators
 
        ◇Machines with the direct-powered of manpower,  unless the machine is used to pile up goods.
 
　　◇Rib Machines have direct contact with patients.
 
　　◇Special Equipment used in Fairgrounds or Amusement Park.
 
　　◇steam boiler, trough and pressure vessel
 
　　◇Machinery designed or used specially for nuclear energy, it will be responsible for nuclear leak if supervised encounter emergencies.
 
　　◇The combination of Radiant part
 
　　◇·light weapons.
 
　　◇·Bin and running piping of gasoline, diesel, Inflammable Liquid and dangerous goods.
 
　　◇Transportation means: means of transport and their trailers that transport people and/or goods by public transport networks such as roads, railways, waterways and in the air, and should be considered as means of transport. However, transport vehicles used in the mining industry are included in this Directive.
　　◇Vessels and offshore mobile equipment equipped with related equipment
 
　　◇For public or private transportation, manned cable cars and cable-drawn ropes

Finally，the directive was amended by 88/29/EEC Communiqué Directive (2)
 
　　◇Machines specially designed and manufactured for military or police applications
