As of March 1, 2020, the export of electrical and electronic equipment to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) must comply with the requirements of the Technical Regulation on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products (RoHS)-EAEUTR037/2016 for RoHS certification. This means that all RoHS regulated products before entering the EAEU market, in addition to obtaining EAC-related safety, EMC and other certifications, but also need to obtain EAEURoHS compliance (DOC) certification. The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) consists of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia.
Regulation EAEUTR037/2016 regulates electronic and electrical equipment with a nominal voltage of 1000VAC or 1500VDC, covering the following categories of products:
1. Household Electronics
2. Electronic computer and computer peripheral connection, combined equipment
3. Terminal telecommunication equipment
4. Copiers and other office equipment
5. Power Tools
6. Light source and lighting equipment
7. Audio equipment
8. Gambling machines and vending machines
9. Cash registers, ticket machines, ID card readers, ATMs and interactive information stations
10. Cables, wires and cords with rated voltage not exceeding 500V(AC or DC); Except fiber optic cables
11. Circuit breakers and protective cut-off devices
12. Fire detectors, safety detectors and their combined products
