Some terms of CB certification
 

IECEE expresses "The IEC System for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrical Equipment"
The formal name of the CB system is“Scheme of the IECEE for Mutual Recognition of Test Certificates for Electrical Equipment”
The abbreviated name of the CB system is “Certification Bodies’ Scheme”
The national certification authority (NCB) is a certification body that issues certificates of eligibility to the state within the scope of approval of electrical products. To be a member of the CB system, NCB's internal quality, system, and technical capabilities must meet specific requirements. A NCB can be divided according to its qualifications to Approval of NCB or certification / approval of NCB.
 
Approved NCB
A NCB approve the other certificates issued by NCB for CB test certificate and CB test report, and as a basis for the issuance of its own national certificates and marks within specific product areas and standards.
Approval NCB does not have the authority to issue CB test certificates.
 
Certification / approval NCB
Certification NCB in addition to exercising the functions of approval NCB, it has the right to issue CB test certificates within the scope of their registration.
The scope of certification / approval NCB may be large than the scope of its certification. Scope of certification and approval are posted on the web site within the relevant "scope" area.
The CB Laboratory (CBTL) is a laboratory accepted by the CB system, It tests one or more product categories under the responsibility of a specific NCB and issues a CB test report. The CB lab can be combined with different NCB in the CB system, But when it works with multiple NCB, testing for a specified product category (such as OFF), can only be performed with one NCB.
