ETL certified factory review
ETL certification generally does not require pre-certification factory inspections, but requires a regular, unannounced follow-up inspection program that includes factory inspections, and an annual fee is levied to compensate for these inspections.
If necessary, inspectors can witness retesting of products or take samples after testing in the laboratory.
ETL Certification First Factory Review and quarterly review
1, if you are applying for ETL certification for the first time, after the test is passed, our factory inspectors will go to the factory for the first factory inspection. The factory should make the necessary preparation work, prepare the product sample and related documents (such as parts specifications, etc.).
2, ETL factory inspection is a review of the quality control system of the plant applying for ETL certification and a factory review according to the ETL report for the main structure and main parts of your product.
Its review items can be broadly divided into: quality control procedures for the overall manufacturing process. Quality control methods, including incoming material inspection, assembly procedures. All records or reports related to the test, test methods, lists of instruments and equipment and their calibration records, test reports and related corrective actions. Manage the use of ETL tags.
3. If after the first factory inspection, the manufacturer moves to another location, we will conduct the first factory inspection of the factory again.
4. After the first plant review, we will conduct a quarterly review of the plant every quarter. If there is a critical component in your previous ETL report that is not listed by the National Accredited Laboratory (NRTL), we will extract the component during the quarterly review for annual review.
