General process of SABS certification
1, the manufacturer filled in the complete application form;
2, if the factory has more than one plant, it is required to fill in a separate application form. Each product within the scope of certification is required to be reflected on the application form. In addition, the factory also needs to fill in the credit application form of the person in charge, the person in charge to guarantee the first inspection fee and other certification fees;
3. After receiving the application form, the South African Bureau of Standards will issue a quotation for review;
4, under the premise that the quotation is approved, the South African Bureau of Standards will conduct the factory review;
5, if the above audit is passed, the South African Bureau of Standards will prepare the annual monitoring contract;
6, there will be two auditors each year to conduct random reviews, the annual supervision of the review and testing costs will be stated in the contract;
7, two auditors will sample back to the laboratory;
8. The samples for future tests will be extracted from the goods of buyers in South Africa by the South African Bureau of Standards. If the batch of goods is less than 4 times per year, the insufficient samples will be required to be sent from the factory, and the cost will be borne by the factory;
9. If the test result is unqualified, the cost of sample and retest will be borne by the factory;
10, the certificate will be valid for three years, unless there are other reasons to cancel the certificate.
