Japan Consumer Product Safety Association (CPSA) is established according to the Japanese Consumer Product Safety Law, CPSA through the development of standards to promote and ensure the safety of consumer products, CPSA will issue the SG mark for products that meet the CPSA standards. SG mark is a product certification system. The Japan Consumer Product Safety Association (CPSA) sets safety standards for products that may endanger human life or cause injury to obtain the SG mark, mainly in terms of the structure, materials and/or usage patterns of the product. As necessary guidelines for judging the safety of consumer products, these standards are developed based on input from representatives of the professional industry and many other diverse sectors, including consumers, manufacturers, distributors, testing and inspection agencies, and government departments. Only those products that have been audited to meet safety standards will be authorized by the CPSA to carry the SG logo, and there are two ways of auditing, one is “ Batch audit ” The other is “ Factory registration + type confirmation ” . In the event that a defective SG marked product causes an accident, injury or death, CPSA will pay compensation.

2. General Procedures for factory inspection
1, the first meeting, requiring the head of the factory to attend.
Introduce the purpose, method and time arrangement of factory inspection;

Inspect the production workshop, warehouse, dormitory, canteen, toilet, shower room, doorman room and medical room, that is, all the places on the floor plan;
Understand the production operation, understand the site records, understand the workers' activities and other abnormal changes;
3, file record check
Including business license, personnel data, labor contract, factory rules and regulations, time records, wage system, payroll, welfare policy, safety system, training/meeting/hazardous tools and equipment maintenance/exercise records.
Request a review of all personnel data;
At least one year's record of hourly wages;
4, worker interview
It is required to be selected by the auditor, not assigned by the factory, and the selection of workers will consider different ages, different departments, and different years of work;
Interview workers selection sources: ① work site; ② Registration form of persons; ③ Payroll;
Ask plant management to avoid and conduct in a separate room;
The interview results are not disclosed to the factory management;
The atmosphere of the interview should be as relaxed as possible, interactive and two-way communication, and try to pay attention to the feelings, experiences and ideas of the workers, and ensure that they do not say their names to the factory;
5, copy the relevant information, complete the audit report, the factory personnel do not participate;
6. Last Meeting
