Authentication of UL certification mark
As a distinctive feature of UL products, all UL products must bear the UL listing, approval, or classification mark. Classification marks are rare in our country, and most of them are listed and approved products. Listing and recognition marks include Class L listing and recognition marks and Class R listing and recognition marks. The Class L listed mark is printed (in label form) and issued by UL in the United States. Its controls are generally tight. The logo consists of four parts:
• UL's registered pattern.
• “ LISTED ” Words, in all caps.
• UL ISSUE NO XXXXX (Control number).
• Name of the product.
There may be some other signs, but the above four are the most basic. Unlike Class L, Class R listed marks can be directly marked on the product by the factory in the form of color printing, labeling, molding, printing, etc. (The label of Class L products must be purchased from UL).
The Class L recognition mark is also printed and issued by UL in the United States and consists of three main parts. Class L approval marks are used only on wires and their components. Its components are:
---- Recognition logo design
-- Control number Issue No
---- Product name
Recognition marks for R products can be obtained from “ Approved parts list ” “ Product logo ” To identify. This usually includes the factory identification symbol, type number or approved product model number. The approval mark for Class R products does not have to appear on the product.
