CSA Certification Application procedure
1. Complete the preliminary application form and submit it to CSAInternational together with all specifications and technical data related to the product (including all electrical components and plastic materials).
2, CSAInternational will determine the certification fee according to the specific situation of the product, and then notify the applicant company by fax.
3. After confirmation by the applicant company, an official application form and notice will be sent, which includes the following requirements:
A. After the formal application form is signed, the wire transfer certification fee (can be paid in RMB) will be sent to the office.
b. Send the test sample to the designated place according to the notice.
4, the designated laboratory will be certified according to the time.
5. After the certification test is completed, a preliminary report (FindingsLetter) will be issued to the applicant company, which details the following:
a, how the product structure needs to be improved to meet the standard.
b. Other data to be used to complete the certification report.
c, please apply for the company to review the content of the certification record draft
d. Shipping marks required for CSA certification and methods for obtaining shipping marks.
e. FactoryTests required by the product.
6. CSAInternational will evaluate the applicant company's response to Item 5 above.
7. At the same time, CSAInternational will prepare a CertificationReport for product production reference and follow-up inspection.
8. At this stage, in some cases, CSAInternational will go to the factory to do factory initial valuation (IFE).
9, finally CSAInternational will, together with the certification record (CertificationRecord) send a certificate of quality (CertificationofCompliance) authorized to apply for company with CSA certification mark on its products.
10. The applicant company shall sign a service agreement (ServiceAgreement) with CSAInternational, indicating that both parties agree that CSAInternational will come to the factory for product tracking inspection, and the factory will accept factory inspection 2-4 times a year. The applicant company is required to pay an annual fee to maintain the agreement.
