1.a. This Directive applies to: cooking, heating, hot water production, freezing, lighting, cleaning and, where appropriate, furnaces for burning gaseous fuels that provide water at a temperature normally not exceeding 105 ° C. Burners with forced ventilation and heating furnaces fitted with such burners may also be considered as furnaces, hereinafter referred to as “ Fuel appliance ” . b. Safety devices, control devices or regulating devices and assemblies, other than forces-ventilated burners and heating furnaces fitted with such burners, which are traded separately on the market and are designed to be combined with or fitted with such devices to form a complete fuel, are called “ Attachment ” .
