From July 1, 2011, all household appliances produced and imported into Brazil must comply with the above technical standards.
From July 1, 2012, all household appliances sold by manufacturers and importers in Brazil must comply with the above technical standards.
From January 1, 2013, all household appliances sold in Brazil must comply with the above technical standards.
To obtain a quality label, manufacturers must pass laboratory tests and undergo regular production line inspections.
