Brazilian Plug and Socket Certification _ Brazilian Plug and socket technical standard
From July 1, 2011, electrical plugs sold throughout Brazil must use three round plugs that meet the uniform specifications set by the National Technical Standards Institute of Brazil.
Xingyuan technicians pointed out that the use of this type of plug will help prevent accidents such as electrical short circuit and leakage. It is said that before the implementation of the technical standard, there are more than 10 different types of plugs and sockets in the Brazilian electrical appliance market, and after the implementation of the new technical standard, it will be able to reduce the risk of electric shock and waste of electricity.
