PSE Certification Application process

 

1, determine whether it is a specific product item: you can find PSE product items (including A and B products) in the ProductList, if the product is not in the List, you do not need to apply. In addition, if the product is newly developed, it is best to determine whether the application is required by the designated Label.

 

2. Documents to be presented: (ForTestLab)

 

a, suitability of equal inspection application

 

b, type differentiation table: different products have different type differentiation table. The main purpose of this table is that when the model applied is a series of products, the test Lab needs to have this table in order to distinguish whether it can be combined into a series. The applicant shall fill in the type distinction form by himself, and the Lab of the test type shall determine whether it can be combined into a series of products. Taking PowerSupply as an example, different EI sizes (EI-41, 48OR57ETC, etc.) can also be combined into the same series, but different protection methods may not be combined into series products (Japanese).

 

c, structure, material and performance summary: the manufacturer should fill in the product characteristics in this form, and provide to the test unit.

 

d, relevant technical documents: Spec, (Transformer and complete products), instructions, Label, circuit diagram, PCBLayout and important parts list, etc.

 

e, inspection equipment list: manufacturers need to put forward a list of equipment in the factory, there is a fixed format for reference.

 

f, sample: 2PC, important parts (Fuse, ACOutlet, Case, etc., need to provide 1-5PC for replacement), etc.

 

g, CBCertificate& Report

 

h, authorization letter: authorized by the manufacturer to the Agency application.
