* The CE mark must be affixed in a prominent position on the product, which should be clear and legible and not easy to apply. Under normal circumstances, the CE mark is affixed to the product or its parameter label; If the CE mark cannot be affixed directly to the product, it can also be affixed to the packaging of the product or the documents accompanying the product, provided that the reason why the CE mark cannot be affixed to the product is proved.

* The minimum height of the CE mark shall not be less than 5mm, and if it is reduced or expanded, it should be carried out in proportion.

* The Notified Body (NB) may participate in conformity assessment activities at the design, production or entire (including design and production) stages depending on the conformity assessment procedure adopted. If NB participates in the conformity assessment procedure at the production stage, the number of NB shall be placed after the CE marking. If more than one NB is involved in conformity assessment at the production stage, the CE mark will be followed by several numbers.

* The CE mark and its NB number may also be affixed in other countries, i.e. if the product is subject to conformity assessment activities carried out in that country by a notified body in Europe in accordance with the requirements of the Directive.
