In China, lighting electricity accounts for about 13% of the total electricity consumption, indoor lighting, tunnel lighting, subway, road lighting and other general lighting fields have great energy saving potential. In the field of indoor lighting applications, LED downlights, LED spotlights and other products have been widely used in municipal lighting places such as large supermarkets, shopping malls, hotels, factories, etc. In the field of tunnel lighting application, more than 10 provinces and cities such as Chongqing, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Jiangxi, Fujian, etc. have applied 11,000 LED tunnel lights in about 12 tunnels with a length of about 30 kilometers, and the energy saving effect has reached more than 50%; In the field of rail transit applications, demonstration applications of semiconductor lighting have been carried out in Mosha subway Station in Guangzhou and Xiangmihu Subway Station in Shenzhen, and large-scale applications are ready to be promoted. At present, some countries in the world have proposed to eliminate incandescent lamps and promote energy-saving lamps, and Europe, the United States, Canada and other countries have clearly stipulated the “ Incandescent lamp ban ” The Japanese government issued policies to encourage enterprises or institutions to use LED lights to replace incandescent lamps.

In order to promote the healthy development and technological innovation of China's semiconductor lighting industry and enhance the competitiveness of China's semiconductor lighting enterprises, CQC actively participates in the policy research and formulation of LED. For some LED lighting products in the field of general lighting, according to the regulations issued by the Accreditation Administration, referring to the existing standards and IECEE CTL resolutions, combined with their own rich experience in the traditional lighting product certification work, has been carried out certification work, involving CCC, CB, CE and CQC certification.
There are three kinds of products that can be CCC certified: fixed universal lamps using LED as a light source, such as LED fluorescent lamps; Portable luminaires using LED as light source, such as LED table lamps; Embedded lamps using LED as light source, such as LED downlights, spotlights, etc. In accordance with the requirements of mandatory certification, we have implemented certification and issued certificates for these three types of lamps using LED as a light source.
In order to meet the export demand of LED lighting products, 2008 has begun to issue LED lighting products CB\CE certificate, into the CB\CE certification product catalog of LED products are LED lamps, LED controllers and so on. LED products that can carry out CQC voluntary certification include all LED lighting products that already have product standards, such as LED street lights, LED emergency lights, LED light strings, etc., but only involve the safety and EMC projects of products.
