IEC 62471:2006 & EN 62471 standard
1. Background:
(IEC 62471:2006 & EN 62471:2008 will be implemented on September 1, 2009 this year, and all LED lights will have to test this standard from now on. The IEC/EN 60825-1 report is still available, used as a transition period, but will be completely invalid by September 2010).
IEC/EN60825 is a single wavelength, read a number (laser products are a single wavelength).
IEC/EN62471 is multi-band, in addition, it can also measure the human eye, skin, Angle of view, sensitivity, reaction time.
Second, applicable products: all lights (except laser), the principle of proximity.
3. Test range: 200nm-3000nm
Four, what to measure: the parameters are irradiance (W/M2) and radiance (irradiance/field of view)
1. Uv damage to skin and eyes;
2, eye near-ultraviolet hazards (315-400nm);
3, retinal blue light hazard (generally understood as a large light source)
4, retinal blue light hazard (small light source);
5, heat damage to the retina;
6, thermal damage to the retina (weak light 780-1400nm);
7, infrared radiation of the eye (780-3000nm);
8, skin heat damage (380-3000nm);
(Note: at present, only the first 2 items are tested, of course, the more comprehensive the test project, the higher the cost)
Five, Xingyuan reminds you of the result judgment classification:
1, continuous working light
A, no harm; B, Class 1 low hazard; C, hazards in class 2; D, Class 3 high hazard
2, pulse light (flashing) : single pulse and continuous pulse
(Note: The working condition of the sample is normal)
